The system of computer - aided design of sheet layouts is intended to introduce automation into the process of creating sheet layouts at the enterprises witch produce furniture, window frames and other products in which the rectangle parts of sheet materials are used. As a rule, this task is characterized by a huge labour - intensiveness (especially in case of a great number of parts) and often leads to non-optimum result, which effects the final product cost because of incomplete use of sheet area.
The given Program helps a user to layout the parts on sheet area in an optimal way. It sets two operating modes - automatic and manual ones. In the first mode the Program automatically lays out the blanks in accordance with the given optimization mode. Then a user can visually make changes in the sheet layout in interactive mode. As a rule, the best result can be achieved while using both modes.
